Family business and women entrepreneurship(Conference on digitization of business in small and medium enterprises)Thursday, 7 April 2022, HUP, Radnička cesta 37a, Zagreb The target group are women entrepreneurs from family businesses and expert trainers. The objective of the event is to get a better understanding of the implications that digital tools have on the women entrepreneurs in family businesses. Women often get labelled as not being technological savvy. Is this stigma been kept up even more in family businesses where the co-entrepreneur is a brother or a husband. What about the younger generation in the family business? Do fathers accept daughter's advice on digital tools? It is often difficult for the older generation to understand the importance of digital tools and maybe the women get more resistance when wanting to add digital tools and automation technologies in the family firm or are they the ones who stop the new way of doing business? A panel discussion on women entrepreneurs in family businesses and new technologies will be organized. The panel consists of experts on family businesses as well as women entrepreneurs from family businesses. The audience will be encouraged to participate in the panel discussions. Programme
