| AT | BG | HR | GR | IT | LV | UA | Digital tools and women entrepreneurs(Digital tools for small business marketing)Multiplier Event / Online Training, 8 September 2022The target group of the Multiplier event is women entrepreneurs. The objective is to teach the women entrepreneurs how they can use digital tools for marketing. The training will help to increase their customer base which will lead to an increase in business income. In the workshop women will first get an overview of marketing for SMEs and which digital tools exist for marketing purposes and what the effects can be on their business outcomes. The training was opened by Prof. Igor Kononenko. He briefly spoke about the project "DIGI Women - digital entrepreneurship tools and support for women entrepreneurs," which is implemented in accordance with the Erasmus+ program. He told about the participants of the project and its goals. He paid special attention to the relevance of digitalization for small businesses of women entrepreneurs in Ukraine. He described the state of this business during the war. He dwelled in more detail on the Curriculum, created by the efforts of specialists from seven countries. He described the content of the Curriculum and the modules it contains. He noted that the contents of three modules of the Curriculum will be presented at the training. Next, Prof. Igor Kononenko spoke in detail about how to develop a business plan for a new business or for the development of an existing business. Training participants learned how to use the Internet to find a new idea for their business. Participants of the training received information about єРобoта - a governmental program of grants for development of entrepreneurship and training of Ukrainians. To receive a grant according to this program, an entrepreneur must create a business plan. During the training, participants learned how to develop all the sections of a business plan using the example of one woman entrepreneur's business idea.
The topic of the presentation of Nikita Shaposhnikov, Frontend engineer of EncircleLabs Company was: “Site creation and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Google advertising platforms. The audience was shown a presentation and given hands-on experience on creating a functional website in minutes. Listeners now know that a website can increase revenue and build a brand. The ability to develop a website with "no code" technology was introduced through the WIX platform. The listeners received information on the main methods of website promotion. The topic of analyzing metrics and data that are collected by special platforms when using the site is now clearer to the listeners. All this knowledge will help women entrepreneurs develop, host, promote and analyze website data to increase business profitability. As more than 4 million Ukrainians received temporary protection status abroad, the issue of making money is acute for many of them. Some of them are looking for a job, for some a more attractive path is entrepreneurship. Traditionally in Ukraine about 5% of the population is engaged in entrepreneurship. From 4 million this would amount to 200 thousand people. Given this fact, we have added to the training questions related to the study of the possibility of opening a business in European countries. Natalia Hryshchenko, director of SVOJA association, Croatia, told about the possibilities and nuances of obtaining grants to start a business in Croatia.
Assoc. Prof. Kostadin Kolarov, PhD, Director of the Institute of Entrepreneurship, University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria, made a presentation: Some regulations regarding opening of own business by foreigners in Bulgaria. The emphasis he placed was on the attractiveness of Bulgaria as a country in which to start one's own business, the sectors with high potential for development, the main legal requirements for registering an enterprise, and the challenges for foreign entrepreneurs. Assoc. Prof. Karina Bukrieieva told about the importance of using social networking and social media marketing for small businesses. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter were shown as perspective platforms for advertising and popularization of enterprises. Also, such instruments as email marketing on the example of the MailChimp platform and location-based marketing on the example of the FourSquare/Swarm Platform were discussed. Assoc. Prof. Bukrieieva told about women's organization «Lastivka Spilnota» in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine which was founded as a charity organization during the war. The promotion of this organization in social networks was given as an example for women entrepreneurs. Some rules for writing content marketing and content plan for social media were given. The training was attended by 21 women-entrepreneurs, including one woman from abroad, four women who have ideas for new businesses and want to start them, 11 specialists from enterprises, 4 representatives of the City Hall of Kharkiv, 2 professors, 5 associate professors of universities. A total of 47 women registered for the training.
